Chakradhar Singh, a senior member of the Structured Equity Solutions team joined Nomura in June to build out the institutional platform with a focus on QIS solutions for the insurance and asset management community. Chakradhar has been on the sell-side for over 7 years, after spending 15 years at three large insurance companies where he developed hedging solutions and analyzed QIS indices that were used in FIA products. At his last firm, Chakradhar was focused on the insurance client base and with his team built over 25 indices for insurers in 6 years. Chakradhar and the team at Nomura are developing equity, cross-asset and volatility QIS strategies to complement the strong Fixed Income and FX offering that Nomura has had for over 15 years.
