Group CEO, WSD

Ian Peacock is a seasoned CEO, board director, and strategic advisor with extensive global leadership experience in financial services and fintech. He has successfully led organizations through startup, growth, and turnaround phases.

Ian began his career in strategy at the London Stock Exchange before moving to Crédit Agricole CIB, where he served as Geographical CEO in both London and New York and later as Global Head of Equity Trading. He then joined IG Group plc, holding roles as UK CEO, US CEO (Chicago-based), and ultimately CEO of its global WealthTech startup.

In July 2025, Ian was appointed Group CEO of WSD.

He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Leeds and an MBA from London Business School where he is a Sloan Fellow. Most recently, he completed executive studies in AI for Strategic Innovation at Stanford. Ian is based in London.
